Production Manager

Humain work with high profile video game developers on cutting edge AAA digital humans for real-time and cinematic sequences. Founded in 2016, Humain’s credits include Halo, Call of Duty, Diablo, Saints Row, and many others.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Manager to manage all aspects of Humain’s productions, from development and supporting production staff, to scheduling and budgeting as well as tracking and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have strong communication skills and attention to detail, and a consistent track record in the management of both internal team members and external partners.

Job Description

  • Oversee the production on all of Humain’s projects.

    Helping the team to deliver projects on time within budget at the best quality possible.

    Help the team plan, budget, set goals and prioritise.

    Manage expectations, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with senior management within Humain and our external clients to ensure our project and services aligns with customer needs.

    Monitor production tracking and provide analysis of tracked assets using production management software such as Microsoft Excel and Project.

    Support Business Development Manager in strategy planning for potential projects; creating schedules, budgets.

    Create and maintain clear and consistent documentation filing, including but not limited to NDA’s, Employee and Client Contracts, invoicing etc.

    Create a positive and collaborative work environment, providing mentorship and support to trainee production and artist team members.

    Coordinate and lead dailies, weekly client production and internal company meetings. Take and note action items, distributing to relevant departments and staff promptly then following up on actions.

Experience

  • Advanced problem solving skills. Foreseeing issues before they become problems.

    Organisational Skills. Develop new processes and streamline current processes.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional maturity with ability to handle sensitive information.

    Strong aptitude for scheduling with ability to identify priority tasks.

    Strong leadership skills to mentor & manage production coordinator while also managing clients and artists.

    Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

    Comfortable working to tight deadlines and on multiple tasks, with a calm manner in a fast-paced environment.

    Financing and budgeting skills using programmes such as Excel, Quickbooks etc.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and various management software such as Notion, Jira, Slack.

Desirables

  • Experience level – at least 5 years within the screen industries such as Video Games, Animation, Film, Television or Animation.

    Knowledge of Computer Animation processes, in particular 3D Asset creation and rigging.

    Passion for playing games, knowledge of the industry, and a good understanding of how a games are made.
