Create characters instantly.
The demo is currently running in Maya but can be ported to any DCC or video game engine. Each Maya locator is acting as a measurement for a database of 200 head scans. As each locator is moved, the database is updated to fit the new measurements always resulting in a plausible head. This can be extended to use the characters in your existing database or a subset of identities.
Notice how it doesn't deform the mesh in an unsightly way. As each new component of the database is added, the structure of the component comes through as well. This is because it does not use blend shapes joints to deform the characters surface. This also keeps the topology super clean throughout.
The final part of the video shows the wide and diverse range of heads that can already be made with this prototype.
